One of Pippa’s favorite things to do these days, is open and close cabinets in the bathroom and the kitchen. I am pretty relaxed towards her curiosity, as long as I can see what she is doing. For that reason, I haven’t “baby-proofed” except to put surge protectors in the outlets. Continue reading

Brandi and I met when we were seven months pregnant at our prenatal yoga class. Both of us were due right around Christmas and as we got closer to the date we were in constant communication about signs of labor. When my daughter was born, the day after Christmas, I was eager to share the news with Brandi and was also excited to hear if her baby had been born. Three days later, Brandi gave birth to Malia. Our baby girls have been friends ever since! Part of the reason I wanted to start this blog, was to feature stories of motherhood, as well as, photos that capture the beauty of mothers and their children. We took these photos at one of our mommy and baby playdates in the park and despite my amateur skill, Brandi and Malia worked the camera fabulously. I could not have asked for a better pair to feature on my premier mommy and baby blog post.  Continue reading

Since Pippa was about 3 months old, she has been attending South Bay Music Together classes. Every week we meet in a classroom with other mommies/daddies/nannies and babies and sing, play, and have fun with instruments and each other.
