Why I love Music Class

Since Pippa was about 3 months old, she has been attending South Bay Music Together classes. Every week we meet in a classroom with other mommies/daddies/nannies and babies and sing, play, and have fun with instruments and each other. Not only is music class lots of fun, it is also educational!

My Birth Story

Laboring and giving birth the way I did was not easy, it was messy and extremely exhausting but worth it in the end. Like many mothers say, the birth experience seems like the briefest moment in time when I consider how much my daughter has grown and changed our lives over the last nine months. With that said, I hope you find my story encouraging especially if you are considering a home birth or one in the hospital without technological interventions.

Natural Childbirth Must-Reads

Pregnancy for me was a time of waiting and preparation. I was excited but also intimidated at the idea of a drug-free childbirth. I prayed a lot about the experience and tried my hardest to only harbor positive thoughts and feelings towards the impending birth. Reading these books gave me valuable insight into childbirth and the confidence I needed to give birth without technological interventions.
